This all provides for a realistic virtual drum experiance. The world tour's velocity sensitive drum pads allow for different sounds from each pad.

The Guitar Hero World Tour's official microphone which is used for vocal roles in the game connect via a USB connection. On the x-box and PS3 your headsect can be used in place of the guitar hero world tour microphone.

Guitar controllers from the older guitar hero games will work with the new Guitar Hero World Tour, other controllers from previous hero games will work also with guitar hero world tour but may need patching which can be done easily when connected to the internet.
